When will we get Sleeping Dogs 2??

This question may arise in the brain of most gamers, especially after the announcement where United Front Games has finally announced a new game - Triad Wars . Despite the rumors that developers under the banner of Square Enix is developing a new game project, expectations awakened did lead to one name - Sleeping Dogs 2 ,There is a desire to experience a new adventure of Wei Shen in the latest generation of platforms, especially after the release of Sleeping Dogs with Definitive Edition. However Triad Wars actually appear so different from what we think it is.

United Front Games call Triad Wars as an online game. though it takes the setting and the theme that is the same as the Sleeping Dogs, Triad Wars is a different game. You will act as a "road warrior" who are trying to build a career in the criminal world Hong Kong, creating your own character while competing with other players that attempt the same thing. Offered as a free to play game, UFG also expressed their interest to not only released Triad Wars for the PC, but also consoles, although there is no certainty at all. Plan to be released next year, Triad Wars even been opened registration for beta.

So, does this mean we will no longer see Sleeping Dogs 2 in the future, especially with the Triad Wars status as an online game that certainly will need long-term support.

In his Reddit AMA session, developer of the United Front Games talk openly about this issue. The developer asserts that this time they really focus on developing Triad Wars, to make it as cool as possible. However, they also expressed an interest to continue the new series of Sleeping Dogs universe in the future. Unfortunately, without any detail. There is no information for the moment they could be linked Sleeping Dogs 2, but they will take advantage of every opportunity to continue to explore the theme of this series.

How about you? Are you one of the gamers who expect United Front Games to develops Sleeping Dogs 2 instead of Triad Wars? Or you're interested enough to try out the new Triad Wars?
